Victorian Blue & White DishBoxwoodLane.com
Victorian blue and white transferware serving dish or bowl. Japanese export item from the late 1800s or early 1900s. It has a fan and flower design with a geometric pattern on the top and bottom rims.
- Made of ceramic / ironstone.
- Measures about 11" long by 2.25" tall.
- We could not find a maker's mark on this piece.
- Part of our Estate Collection and in very good vintage condition. It does have some spotting on the finish from age, especially on the underside (please see photo). There's also an age crack, but hard to see and doesn't seem to be the result of any damage. The gold trim on the rim is partially faded / worn. We didn't find any chips, crazing, or repairs. As always, please examine photos to help assess item condition and contact us if more information is desired.
