"The Sampler" was the first doll in the "Saturday Evening Post Cover Girls" collection (made by the Danbury Mint). This exquisite doll brings to life Norman Rockwell's unforgettable original 1924 "Saturday Evening Post" cover. She's made of delicately hand-painted porcelain and is wearing an authentic, Victorian styled, hand-tailored costume and includes remarkably detailed accessories, such as a painted brooch, upholstered chair, a wooden embroidery frame, foot pillow, and more! Seated height is about 14" tall. Part of our Estate Collection and in excellent condition.
