Engraving of Philip Yorke, 1st Earl of Hardwicke (1690-1764) - English lawyer and politician. Published in London, England by A. Strahan & T. Cadell in 1795. Engraved by J. Collyer. Adhered to cardboard and trimmed on one side within the plate line. Originally framed by McElroy's Art Store in Washington, D.C. in the 1890s.
- Full paper size behind the matting measures about 5.5" x 8.25".
- Overall size measures about 10.5" x 13.25".
- Part of our Estate Collection and in very good vintage condition. The paper has some yellowing/discoloration from age. The matting is new, however the frame and glass is from the 1890s and is in very good condition.
