F. Morley Red Transferware SetF. Morley & Co.
Set of antique English Staffordshire red transferware in the Aurora pattern. Made circa 1850's by F. Morley & Company. This set includes:
- 5 plates - about 8" in diameter.
- 2 cups (designed without handles) - about 3.75" in diameter and 2.75" tall.
- 1 saucer - about 5.75" in diameter.
NOTE: As a bonus, we're adding in 4 additional saucers and 4 additional cups (same maker and pattern) - all in varying conditions (not included in the photos) and all offered "as is". So with the bonus pieces, there are a total of 16 items!
- Part of our Estate Collection and in good vintage condition. For the set in the photos, each item has some crazing and other defects that are common antique Staffordshire ironstone. There are minor chips on two items on the bottom rim under the plate (please see photos), and another small chip on the upper rim of one of the cups. There are a couple of small hairline cracks as well, one on a cup and the other on a plate. The bonus pieces have all the signs of age; chips, cracks, and crazing. These bonus pieces are being included at no additional charge and although they are in poor condition, they are certainly still very nice display items. These bonus pieces are offered "as is".
