Coalport Serving Dish - 1820sCoalport
Beautiful early 19th century Coalport serving dish. Has the maker's mark of Coalport Improved Feltspar Porcelain on the bottom, dating this back to the 1820s. Deep dish design with the double-barred scrolls and festoons in low relief against a sky-blue background surround a floral motif in the center.
- Measures about 8.5" x 7.5" x 1.5".
- Part of our Estate Collection and in very good vintage condition, however there is a small hair-line crack visible from the exterior side (please see photo) and has fine crazing as you might expect from a piece of this age. There is a small chip on the bottom rim of the underside (please see photo). The gold trim on the top rim of the plate is partially worn.
