Antique Carved Stirrups - 1800sBoxwoodLane.com
Antique carved wood Chilean stirrups - circa late 1800s. Really a beautiful set of wooden stirrups used by Chilean Cowboys or Huasos as a traditional part of Huaso attire. Each are carved from a single piece of wood. Very unique decor items!
- Each measure about 7.5" long and 7" high.
- Made of wood.
- Part of our Estate Collection and in very good vintage condition. Part of the charm of these pieces is the wear and tear that they have from many years of use. The bottoms are worn both on the undersides and on the interiors. Some of the carvings have worn thin, especially on the back of each stirrup. The wood has some small cracks, dents, and scratches. The metal is rusted. Very nice antique decor items that have a wonderful old look.
