Battle of Hastings Linen ClothUlster
Linen cloth that commemorates King Herald in the Battle of Hastings in 1066. Based on the Bayeux Tapestry that was made in the 11th century, within a few years after the battle. The original was actually an embroidered work instead of a tapestry and is recognized as a perfect example of secular Norman art of the period. This particular piece has a painted-on design and makes for a very unique hanging.
- Made of line cloth.
- Measures about 18.5" x 29.5".
- Made in Ireland.
