Return and Exchange Policy
Your satisfaction is important to us. We want you to feel confident that your purchase will be shipped with care and will arrive in great condition. However, if you receive a product that is defective you can return it back to us at no charge, subject to the terms stated in this return policy.
Please be sure that you want the item you’re purchasing. All sales are final. Refunds are only offered for defective products. PLEASE NOTE: REFUNDS ARE ONLY PROVIDED ONCE THE ITEM HAS BEEN RECEIVED BACK IN OUR POSSESSION. If you do need to return an item, the item must be unregistered, in complete original manufacturer’s packaging, in the same condition as sold, with all accessories, literature, instructions, documentation and blank warranty cards. If any of the above conditions are not met, we reserve the right to refuse the return or charge a restock fee of not less than 15%, at our sole discretion.
If something is damaged during shipment, please contact the carrier right away. Hold on to all shipping materials for inspection. All damage incurred during shipment must be claimed with the carrier by the purshaser.
How to Return Products
Obtaining a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) Number. Please email us at returns@boxwoodlane.com or call us at 1-877-BWL-TOYS (1-877-295-8697) within 5 calendar days after receiving the product for a Return Merchandise Authorization number (RMA) before returning your product. Sorry, but we cannot accept returns of any type without prior authorization. Please provide the following information along with your return request:
-customer name
-order number
-item name/number
-order date
-the reason for the return
If possible, defective items may be repaired or exchanged at our discretion for the same or manufacturer's equivalent model only. If repairing or replacing the item is not possible, then the cost of the item will be refunded back to you. Refunds on returned items will only be made by crediting the account charged for the purchase.
Shipping Charges
Original shipping charges are only refundable for returned defective products that cannot be replaced or exchanged. The charges for shipping the defective product back to us are also refundable. Ground Shipping should be used for all returned items unless otherwise required by Boxwood Lane LLC. Shipping charges on other returned products are the responsibility of the customer. Original shipping charges are not refundable for defective products that can be replaced. When sending items back to us, we strongly recommend you fully insure your return shipment in case of loss or damage. A minimum restock fee of 15% may be applied to products returned as defective that test to be operational upon return. Additionally, any return that has missing accessories or is incomplete in packaging will be subject to the minimum 15% restock fee. All refused orders (that is, refused by the customer) will be subject to a restocking fee of 15%. Shipping charges are not refundable for refused orders. In addition, refused orders may be subject to additional shipping charges to cover the cost of returning the product back to us. Please note that refunds are only provided once the item has been received back in our possession.
